Rebecca F. McIntosh, DVM, cVMA

I truly feel that pets make the world a better place to live and allow us to know unconditional love. For this gift that they give to us, I feel my purpose in life is to return the favor. I received my veterinary degree from St. Matthews University and completed my clinical education at North Carolina State University.

As medicine never stands still, I believe wholeheartedly in the importance of constant continuing education. I am a proud member of the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies, American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, American Association of Feline Practitioners, American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior, Central Florida Veterinary Medical Association, serve as an advisory council member for the Harbor House Paws for Peace Kennel, and have a certification in Low Stress Animal Handling. I love every aspect of veterinary medicine, but have a special interest in companion animal nutrition and behavior medicine, as well as preventative care and the preservation of the all-important Human/Animal Bond.

As a veterinarian, I have served in the Central Florida area since 2012, and am excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the Integrative Animal Hospital family. I believe that being entrusted with the care of a furry family member is a precious gift and the most important of responsibilities. I look forward to meeting you and your loved ones.
